Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
When you apply for a workspace: your company name, your name, your email address, your mobile number and your state, plus any optional business details you choose to add (GSTIN, PAN, city, PIN code, address). When you use FactoryStream: the operational records you enter, and an audit trail of who did what and when. Technical basics such as your sign-in times are also recorded.
2. Why we collect it
To review your application and contact you about it; to run the product for you; to keep your workspace secure; and to keep an accurate history of changes to your own records.
3. Who can see it
Your operational records are visible to the users you invite to your own workspace, under the permissions you give them. They are not visible to any other customer.
The FactoryStream team can see the details you submitted with your application — that is what a review is — and can access a workspace for support only through an explicit, time-limited and recorded access grant.
4. The Help Assistant
The FactoryStream Help Assistant answers questions about the product. It has no access to any operational database: it cannot read, infer or disclose customer names, purchase orders, rates, goods receipts, production, vehicles, users or activity, and it is not trained on your records.
5. How long we keep it
For as long as your workspace exists. FactoryStream does not automatically delete business records by age or on a schedule. Applications — including ones that were declined — are kept as a record of the decision rather than erased.
6. Security
Data is held in a managed PostgreSQL database and travels over TLS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in a readable form. Access to a workspace requires authentication, and every route checks it on the server. Stored SMTP credentials are encrypted at rest.
No system is perfectly secure, and we make no certification claim on this page.
7. Your choices
You can correct your company details in the product at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your workspace data, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details below. We will confirm your identity before acting on such a request.
8. Cookies
FactoryStream sets a session cookie so you stay signed in, and stores your light/dark theme choice in your own browser. It also remembers the interface language you choose (English or Hindi) in a cookie on your browser and, when you are signed in, on your own user account. There is no third-party advertising or tracking cookie.
